Site work for a water / sewer project in La Grange Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will involve work necessary to improve and rehabilitate portions of the combined sewer and storm sewer systems at various locations throughout the Village of LaGrange Park, utilizing inversion lining and all other appurtenant work to properly complete the project in accordance with the specifications and bidding documents. The contractor shall be paid in cash for the work to be performed on this project. Bid proposals must be submitted using the provided forms A bid bond must accompany all bid proposals offered in an amount which shall not be less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid or a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of La Grange Park. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of La Grange Park for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractors shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of La Grange Park reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, to waive technicalities, and to reject any and all bids.
