Site work for a road / highway in Norwalk, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Norwalk Township Trustees (“Township”) requests Statements of Qualifications from consulting engineering firms to perform engineering services related to the planning, engineering design, preparation of probable cost and other related professional services for the repair of a slip failure on Lovers Lane Road. After evaluating the responses to this RFQ, the Township and the Engineer's Office will select a short list of candidates that it considers to be the most qualified, per the RFQ. The short-listed firms will be sent a notice with further information. Please direct all questions to the Huron County Engineer's Office, Attn: Mike Farrell PE,PS. A preliminary report titled; “Roadway Slope Stability Failure Analysis” is available upon request for review. As required by Ohio Revised Code §153.65-73, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation the Township will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm. The Township reserves the right to take any action affecting the RFQ that would be in the best interests of the Township and/or conduct investigations with respect to the qualifications and experience of each Respondent.
