Renovation of a library in Norwalk, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Norwalk Library Masonry Restoration Project. Questions may be directed to and requests for electronic copies of the Contract Documents, which include additional details, by contacting Sara Peters, P.E. of THP Limited in writing at speters@thpltd.com no later than 12:00 P.M., local time on August 29. 2025. The Base Bid Scope of Work includes the following: 1. Removal & reinstallation of stone copings for installation of through-wall flashing 2. Brick Masonry Replacement at Isolated Locations of Distress 3. Mortar Repointing as follows: 100 Percent within the Brick Masonry Parapet At Isolated Locations of Deterioration within the Exterior Brick Masonry Walls 100 Percent within the Sandstone (including stone-to-stone and stone-to-brick joints at the perimeter of the stone) 4. Stone Lintel Pinning and Patching at Cracked Stone Lintels 5. Remove joint sealant at toe of steel lintels, and clean & paint steel lintels 6. Sandstone crack repair 7. Application of stone consolidation treatment and sandstone patching at isolated delaminations and spalls 8. Stone & brick masonry cleaning & application of clear water repellent sealer 9. Clean & paint original wood framed windows below the dome 10. Joint sealant removal & replacement as indicated on the Drawings C. The Alternate 1 Scope of Work includes the following within the Main Entry Stair: 1. 100 Percent Removal & Resetting of Limestone Stair Treads 2. Removal and Replacement of Broken Limestone Stair Treads 3. Stone & brick masonry cleaning & application of clear water repellent sealer within stair treads, landing, and barrier walls 4. Installation of Cove Joint Sealant 5. Clean & Paint Existing Railings All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
