Lowes Creek Road. The utilities are proposed to extend to Evergreen Terrace and then west to service a new development. Construction shall consist of traffic control and detour signage, clearing and grubbing through varied terrain, removal of bituminous pavement, water main and services, sanitary sewer and services, direction boring, force main installation, unclassified excavation, preparation of subbase, crushed aggregate base, sawing, various types of restoration, asphaltic concrete pavement, and epoxy pavement marking. The locations of existing underground utilities are unknown, and it is the responsibility of the Contractor to locate and protect any existing utilities encountered during construction. The local utilities, as well as the City of Eau Claire, are members of Diggers Hotline. The Contractor shall notify Diggers Hotline prior to commencement of work. Closing S. Lowes Creek Road and access to Lowes Creek County Park shall be coordinated with Eau Claire County. The Contractor shall work with the County on the closing schedule for the roadway and maintaining access to the park.
