The successful bidder ("Contractor") must provide trucks, complete with operator, plow, and deicing equipment to perform snow removal at the identified areas (Attachment C: CVG Landside Snow Removal Areas) at CVG. KCAB will provide deicing materials (i.e. - salt) for use on the roadways, parking lots, parking garage, and sidewalks. Question Deadline 08/12/2025 at 11:59 PM ET Answers To Questions Issued: August 14, 2025, 11:59pm The Contractor is responsible for furnishing the service has complete responsibility for equipment and labor being used and will furnish all maintenance and repair for that equipment. The Contractor must be ready to begin operations within ninety (90) minutes of notification from KCAB with the appropriate number of trucks, the equipment, the materials, and a manager on site. The snow removal operations will include all necessary equipment, personnel, and materials for any snow occurrence in which treatment is required, freezing rain, re-freeze, etc. Contractor must provide a primary and backup phone number available 24 hours a day in the event KCAB needs to make contact with the manager. The number of hours of use of the trucks and/or equipment during the contract period will vary with the number and type of storms in the winter season. KCAB has included a depiction of the identified areas (Attachment C: CVG Landside Snow Removal Areas) where the Contractor will provide services. Each location must maintain a service standard during winter events. KCAB reserves the right to increase or decrease the service areas with a corresponding increase or decrease to the contract price. Contractor will be used on an as-needed basis and must be available 24/7 throughout contract term. KCAB reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal or bid guaranty, to reject any or all proposals, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible proposer to such extent as may be beneficial to KCAB.
