Site work for a civil project in Erlanger, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed Work involves the removal and disposal of the existing swing gates (or reconfiguration of existing gate where noted), and the sale, installation, and configuration of automatic single slide gates and operator systems with access control electronic locks, as more specifically described in the Technical Specifications. The Work will be completed at ten (10) separate Northern Kentucky Water District water tank and pump station facilities in Campbell and Kenton County. Contractor shall be responsible for the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment, to perform the Work. All prospective bidders should understand that Owner s purchase is exempt from state sales tax. Work must be completed by May 29, 2026, and according to a work sequencing plan approved by Owner. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond (insuring/bonding company shall be rated A by AM Best) as security for the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Each Bid must contain evidence of Bidder s qualifications to transact business in the State of Kentucky or covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to award of the Contract. The Bidder s Organization Number from the Kentucky s Secretary of State and principal place of business as filed with Kentucky s Secretary of State must be included where applicable. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, incomplete, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner. Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent qualified Bidder(s) to such an extent as may be determined by Owner, and/or to make multiple or partial awards. Owner will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. DBEs, WOSBs, MBEs, and small businesses are strongly encouraged to bid. Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the day of bid opening or for such longer period of time to which a Bidder may agree in writing upon request of the Owner. If a Contract is to be awarded, the Owner will give the successful Bidder a Notice of Award during the period of time which the successful Bidder s Bid remains subject to acceptance. The Contract Price shall not include sales tax for building materials, fixtures, or supplies purchased by the Successful Bidder which will be permanently incorporated into a structure or improvement to real property, or will be completely consumed, in fulfilling a construction contract for the purpose of furnishing water or sewer services to the general public under KRS 139.480. The Successful Bidder agrees to utilize Kentucky Department of Revenue Form 51A383 when making sales tax exempt purchases for the Work All addendums will be issued through our QUESTCDN electronic bidding site. You must download the bid documents to be a plan holder and receive any addenda. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to review all addendums twenty-four (24) hours prior to bid. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 10/27/2025
