Renovation of a detention facility in Fort Myers, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
All bids from qualified subcontractors will be received. Scope of work: Replace all domestic water lines, valves, fixtures & faucets at the occupied and operational jail facility. The project will be phased to accommodate the movement of inmates for work to be completed. Cut & patch as required for access to all plumbing work within the scope. All workers will be required to pass the Lee County Sheriff's department background check. This is an Equal Opportunity project. DBE/MBE/WBE participation is strongly encouraged. Bidders may use their standard form of proposal. Bids must be in accordance with the plans, specifications, and bid instructions. All terms and conditions of the standard form subcontract of Construction Manager, available upon request, will be the governing document regardless of any statements to the contrary noted in the bidder's form of proposal. The Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities and informalities and to reject any and all bids for any reason. The Construction Manager will evaluate all proposals received and will award the Subcontract in accordance with the Construction Manager's and Owner's best interests based upon such evaluation in its sole discretion.
