Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenilworth, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of removal of existing bituminous walking path and installation of new walking path consisting of bituminous pavement and reinforced turf; replacement of storm drains; and expansion of existing bituminous parking lot. All questions in regard to the bid shall be submitted in writing to Anthony Gallerano, PE, PP, Harbor Consultants, Inc., 320 North Avenue East, Cranford, NJ 07016, or via email tonyg@hcicg.net. Bidders are required to comply with P.L. 2004, c. 57 (Chapter 57) which amends N.J.S.A. 52:32-44. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Administering EEO in Public Contracts. The successful bidder shall be required to comply to the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective 1, 1964, the Contract Work Hours and Safety standards Act, the Copeland Act and the Davis-Bacon Act, and all the latest amendments to same. Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution, and sufficiency of surety. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Mandatory Affirmative Action Requirements, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1977, regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. A non-collusion affidavit, certificate of prequalification, affidavit as to total amount of uncompleted contracts and a Public Works Contractor Registration Act with the State of New Jersey must accompany each bid. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of (60) sixty days. The Borough of Kenilworth Governing Body Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities in Any Bid, or to Award Separate Contracts or a Lump Sum contract (as Applicable), in Such a Manner As Shall Be, in the Judgment of the Governing Body, Deemed in the Best Interest of the Borough, All in Conformity With the Law. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
