The adjacent classrooms will be converted into Pre-K Classrooms and provide access to the new toilets and wardrobes. New cabinetry and sinks are to be provided in the Pre-K Classrooms. Sealed proposals are invited for the Toilet Room at Harding School located in Kenilworth, Union County, New Jersey. Bids must be rendered in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4. Eligible bidders are limited to those with DPMC Trade Classification C009 for General Contractor/Additions and Alterations. Each bid requires a security deposit of at least 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond. Bidders must comply with the requirements of Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute), Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.-NJAC 12:60), the Americans with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and all applicable New Jersey statutes. All contractors are subject to background checks. The school district reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bid or all bids, or to waive minor informalities or award a lump sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in accordance with the law.
