Recommended that a contract be awarded to the lowest bidder, S. Brothers Inc, P.O. Box 317, South River, NJ in the amount of $493,140.32 The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes roadway improvements to Monroe Avenue including granite block curb installation, drainage improvements, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project including roadway improvements not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within ninety (90) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of BOROUGH OF ENILWORTH for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required.
