These providers will deliver to CAW based solely on the street address. Note: For safety purposes, Contractor(s) are encouraged to provide submissions by mail with a delivery provider; however, Contractors who choose to hand deliver a bid response, should contact the CAW Purchasing Section in advance to make delivery arrangements. It is the intent of this solicitation to describe the minimum requirements for the following products or services: Fencing, removal and re-installation. 2.2 MATERIALS AND QUANTITIES A. Remove existing wire, top rail bottom tension wire and barb wire. 1. Existing posts will not be removed. 2. Remove existing gate and gate posts. B. Replace with approximately 2,730 LF of new eight (8) Ft., fence materials. 1. Install new four (4) inch posts will over existing posts. 2. Install new 8-foot 9-gauge 2-inch mesh fabric, tension wire, 1 5/8-inch top rail with 3 strands of 12 _ gauge barbed wire on new 45-degree barbed wire arms at top of fence. 3. Install new gate posts and 20' double swinging gate. a. Wire to be nine (9) gage galvanized. b. Line Post to be three (3) inch stainless steel 40. c. Terminal and gate posts to be four (4) inch stainless steel 40. d. Top and brace rail to be one and five eighths inch (1-5/8) stainless steel 40. e. Bottom tension wire to be seven (7) gate crimp. All other Materials shall be supplied per CAW Standard Pipeline Materials Specifications. 2.3 Site shall be left secure at end of each workday. 2.4 All signs, in current fencing, shall be removed and rehung, in same location, after fence replacement is complete. 2.5 Contractor shall have been in business a minimum of five years with experienced installers providing the installation services required. 2.6 The contractor shall have a competent superintendent or foreman on the job during the progress of the work who has full authority to supervise and direct the work and who shall be the contractor's agent for the faithful discharge of the contractor's obligation under this contract. The superintendent or foreman shall represent the contactor in his absence. 2.7 All voids shall be filled so bottom of fence and tension wire meet ground and/or with line post. 2.8 Salvage of all removed materials to be hauled away by contractor. 2.9 An estimate of the number of pounds of reclaimed and or recycled materials will be provided to Central Arkansas water following the completion of the project.
