Bid is cancelled. The US Government Publishing Office intends to procure HVAC duct cleaning services (Building A-6th Floor) for a federal facility. The HVAC ducts have accumulated lead particles, paper dust, and other debris over time, posing potential fire safety risks. Periodic cleaning is necessary to ensure that air used for regulating temperature and humidity remains free of harmful impurities. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for cleaning industrial HVAC ducts at the GPO facility at 732 North Capitol Street, NW Washington, DC. 20401. This contract covers the 6th floor of Building A, as outlined in the attached GPO drawing and supplemental documents The Contractor shall Review the drawings and related documents Inspect the site to verify current conditions Prepare a proposal based on observed site realities Complete the cleaning work in accordance with Section C Due to the facilitys age over 40 years and historical modifications to the HVAC system, the provided documentation may not reflect all as-built conditions. The Contractor is responsible for identifying any discrepancies and incorporating them into their bid and work plan.
