The Project consists of replacing approximately 6,925 linear feet (LF) of water main in downtown Loudon, Tennessee. The water main will be constructed of ductile iron pipe ranging from 4-inch to 8-inch in size. The project includes but is not limited to valves, fittings, hydrants and other appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and required for a complete functioning system. The Project consists of replacing approximately 6,925 linear feet (LF) of water main in downtown Loudon, Tennessee. The water main will be constructed of ductile iron pipe ranging from 4-inch to 8-inch in size. The project includes but is not limited to valves, fittings, hydrants and other appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and required for a complete functioning system. The selected contractor for the project will be solely responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of stormwater erosion and sediment control best management practices to comply with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation General Permit Number TRN100000. The work will be awarded in one Contract. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
