This project requires 5% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0 Phase I engineering services are required to provide pavement analysis and evaluation studies for various locations in District Three. The Consultant will be expected to utilize traditional and modern tools to evaluate pavement and subgrade conditions and pavement distresses such as pavement coring, falling weight deflectometer, dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP), and ground penetrating radar. Field investigations will be required. Work is also expected to include reviewing data provided by others such as historical plan data, existing pavement core data, pavement condition data, traffic speed deflectometer data, and continuous pavement friction data.
