The Morton Park District is seeking competitive bids for the installation of approximately 683 feet of 6' chain link fencing at 420 E. Washington St. Morton, IL 61550. The Morton Park District reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids; to reject any and all bids; to determine which is the lowest responsible bid. PREVAILING WAGE LAW: This Contract calls for the construction of a "public work," within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. ("the Act"). Installation of +/-683' of 6' high 8 GA FIN. Black 2" KK vinyl coated galvanized chain link fencing with: (4) 4'w x 6'h single swing gates (1) 8'w x 6'h double swing gate (1) 10'w x 6'h double swing gate 1 5/8' bottom rail on entire fence Fork latches on single gates Strong Arm latches on double swing gates with drop rods Corner and single gates to have 2 %" diameter posts Double gates to have 3" diameter posts Line posts to be 2" diameter posts with 40 weight thickness and set in concrete footings All bolts to be painted black Any questions regarding this bid should be directed to Joel Dickerson, Executive Director, of the Morton Park District.
