Renovation of a multi-residential development in Sharon, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Sharon Homes are 6 affordable rental apartments in 3 separate buildings. All units are fully occupied. There are approximately 70 windows total, across the 3 buildings.Site Plan and a window schedule are included as separate attachments. Contractors are responsible for confirming the quantities and measurements in the attached window schedule. A Hazardous Materials report and Operations and Maintenance Plan for Asbestos Containing Materials are both available upon request. Please note that the presence of lead paint was noted in all 3 buildings, during the 2024 Hazardous Materials Assessment. That same assessment assumed the presence of asbestos in the joint compound in #91 and in the window glazing in #95. Window areas may need to be isolated upon removal and asbestos may need to be mitigated. Question Deadline 08/20/2025
