Illinois Law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor. No less than the current 2024 prevailing wage rate in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130/) Performance and Payment bonds for One hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required from the successful bidder. Executed Project Labor Agreement will be required from the successful bidder. All Bidding contractors shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Illinois Human Rights Act [775 ILCS 5]. All federal and State laws, rules, and regulations that prohibit discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, order of protection status, military status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, unfavorable discharge from military service, and physical or mental disability.
