Site work for a road / highway in Johnson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Traffic Signal Poles meeting current TDOT & AASHTO standards as per the attached price sheet, drawings and plans which are an integral part of this bid. Attached price sheet must be completed and returned with bid package. This Subsection applies to the manufacture of steel poles and mast arms for the support of traffic signals. The height of poles, shaft dimensions and wall thickness shall meet the design requirements and mounting height of traffic signals as set forth in these Specifications and shown on the Plans. The Plans indicate bracket arm lengths. Furnish poles consisting of a uniformly tapered shaft, cylindrical (not multisided) in cross-section, having a base welded to the lower end and complete with anchor bolts. All mast arms shall be compatible with the poles in material, strength, shape, and size. The City shall have 60 days to issue a contract. Any contract past that period must be mutually agreed upon by both parties. Issuance of a bid does not commit the City to make an award. The City reserves the right to postpone or reject any or all bids , to waive informalities and to accept the bid judged to be in the best interest of the City. Anticipated Award Date: August 22, 2025
