The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and supplies as required for a complete installation of one secure transaction window assembly and one storefront assemble in the vestibule at Johnson City Schools Central Office. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required for a complete installation, including but not limited to: - Verify dimensions and existing conditions. Notify Owner of potential problems before bidding, ordering, and/or installing - Work to be done during normal weekday business hours. Evenings and weekends may be available upon request - Protect all areas from damage and construction dust - Submit shop drawings to Owner approval before ordering - Install one transaction window with arched opening, aluminum frame, stainless steel counter, deal tray - Install one storefront door/window assembly including hardware as specified - Install caulking, filler pieces, trim, or other accessories as needed for a complete installation - Legally dispose of all removed and excess materials from site - Clean, Repair, or Replace any disturbance or damage to pre-existing conditions or better - Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local codes and regulations - Comply with maintenance instructions and warranty documentation - Include a $3,000 general contingency for unforeseen conditions. - Any unused contingency funds will be credited back to the Owner at the end of the project. Project (work and materials) shall be guaranteed by the Contractor for a period of one (1) year minimum. LICENSES, FEES, PERMITS The Contractor is responsible for furnishing the proper licenses, fees, and permits required by law to do business in the City of Johnson City in completion of the requirements stated herein. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest building codes, state and federal laws relative to this project. INSURANCE The attached Insurance Checklist (which includes a section for the Insurance agent to fill-out) and General Contract Form shall be completed and returned with the quote package.
