Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
**As of September 17th, 2025, the project was awarded to Statefire, with an awarded amount of $207,230.10.** 2025 Recreation Center Fire Alarm System Upgrade Provide all necessary hardware and perform installation of a new Fire Alarm System to replace the existing obsolete system. The proposal shall include all required plan reviews, permits, materials, and improvements necessary to upgrade and modernize the system in accordance with City of Rock Springs requirements. A certified check or bid bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of any bid must be filed with said bid to be forfeited to the City of Rock Springs as liquidated damages if the bidder is awarded the contract and fails to enter into a contract with the City of Rock Springs within ten (10) days after notification of award. The City Council shall have the power to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in the same. No bidder will be allowed to withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days or until the successful bidder has entered into a contract with the City of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Max Mickelson, Mayor.
