Site work for a water / sewer project in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists of the replacement of approximately 3,770 linear feet of sewer mainline across three separate project areas: the Belt Route between Mctee Street and Railroad Avenue, alleyways between Lowell Avenue and Clark Street, and a separate Clark Street replacement area. There will also be approximately 345 linear feet of waterline replacement between Powell Street and 11th Street. Both sewer and waterline replacement areas require service line replacements from the mainline to the property lines of residents along the replacement alignment. The scope includes all appurtenances associated with the replacement of the mainlines, as well as various hard surface repairs including asphalt, curb and gutter, sidewalk, gravel roadway repair, and curb wall replacement. All work will take place within the limits and easements of the city. Each bidder must submit a certified check or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the City of Rock Springs in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bidder's maximum bid price as a guarantee to enter into a contract within fifteen days after notice of award. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid that complies with all requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any bid formalities in its best interest. Provisions from Wyoming statutes regarding bid bonds, performance guarantee, resident labor preference, and registration with taxing authority apply.
