Renovation of an educational facility in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The work involves the furnishing of labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a new fire suppression system, to be provided and installed throughout the entire building for full coverage at Northpark Elementary School. Bids are to be submitted on forms provided with the Contract Documents. Bids must include bid security in the amount of ten percent of the total bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish Performance, Labor and Material Bonds, each in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum. Contractors must comply with all fair labor practices and requirements of Wyoming State Statutes. Preference is given to Wyoming-produced materials and to resident Wyoming contractors, as specified in the applicable statutes. Resident contractors must be certified as such by the Wyoming Department of Employment at the time of the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least thirty days after the bid receipt deadline, except as noted in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to evaluate and accept the proposal that best serves the Owner's interest. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough for all Prime Contractors will be held at the project site, and attendance is required for Prime Contractors and encouraged for interested Subcontractors.
