Bids for Brick Church Station Track Bed Waterproofing and Concrete Repairs located in East Orange, New Jersey NJ TRANSIT is issuing an IFB for work that consists of but is not limited to the installation of a new drainage system components and waterproofing system that will make the viaduct watertight and repair elements of the viaduct and drains at NJ TRANSIT Brick Church Station. Repairs will also be made to damaged concrete and station access stairs both east and west ends of the platforms. All work must be in conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. Prebid meeting : Bidders are advised that attendance at both the pre-bid conference and site visit is strongly recommended. All firms must be prequalified by NJ TRANSIT prior to submitting a Bid. Bidders must be prequalified for "HR" Heavy Construction Rail (Operating Railroad Environment) as a "GC" (General Contractor) for an amount of work that is equal to or greater than their bid amount. NJ TRANSIT requires a minimum rating of "P" ($15,000,001 to $20,000,000). This project requires a historical prequalification in order to be eligible to bid. PLEASE NOTE: A historical preservation prequalification questionnaire must be completed and approved by NJ TRANSIT in order to be qualified to submit a bid. A twenty percent (20%) Category 6 SBE/DVOB Goal has been assigned to this project.
