The City of Coral Springs seeks to retain the services of a qualified and experienced firm or individual to provide the necessary services to City's Security and Lockdown System. The selected firm or individual must be capable of delivering an integrated and scalable solution that includes but is not limited to: A. Installation, Maintenance, and Support of Security System o Surveillance camera installation and maintenance o Access control system integration and management o Real Time Crime Center video feed compatibility o Seamless collaboration with City IT, Emergency Services, and Facilities teams B. Support and Maintenance of Proprietary Lockdown System o Preventative maintenance of installed components (strobes, speakers, lockdown buttons) o Response to system errors, malfunctions, or software issues o Documentation of all inspections, repairs, and system changes o Respondents must affirm that they can support or arrange authorized service for the City's proprietary lockdown infrastructure without voiding warranties or interrupting system functionality. o Any vendor proposing an alternative solution must demonstrate full interoperability with the existing lockdown infrastructure. o Vendors unable to directly service the proprietary system must identify a subcontracting plan with an authorized or certified provider. C. Integration and Expansion Services o Design and engineering for new facility lockdown and PA systems o Scalable integration planning that preserves proprietary system compatibility o Floor plan documentation and trigger zone mapping D. System Interoperability and Emergency Support o Compatibility with existing City infrastructure and software systems o Backup communication methods and power redundancy o 24/7 service availability, including during disasters or emergency activations Bid Bond 5% M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
