Renovation of a military facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This project is for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region, Weather Forecast Office (WFO) \nlocations in Shreveport, LA, New Braunfels, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, and Brownsville, TX. The current camera systems at these locations are out of compliance with section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and the Secure Equipment Act (SEA) by utilizing unauthorized Chinese manufactured cameras.", The contractor shall be responsible for the replacement of camera systems, excluding CAT 5 or CAT 6 wiring.", The government will retain and/or replace all head-end equipment, \nwhich includes the server, network switch, and Blue Iris software.", The contractor shall install new camera mounts, cameras, Power over Ethernet (POE) devices, and Wi-Fi antennas as required by the specific location.", All cameras shall be compatible with Blue Iris software and comply with TAA (Trade Agreements Act) requirements.", The contractor shall have expertise in Blue Iris software and shall ensure the successful integration of all equipment, ensuring that the entire system is fully operational and meets the required \nperformance standards." Questions should be received no later than three (3) calendar days after the issuance date of this solicitation. Quoters must submit their quotations in PDF or Microsoft Word format via email to elliott.waxman@noaa.gov by the specified deadline. Submissions must include signed copies of the SF 1449 and any amendment SF 30(s) to acknowledge the solicitation and amendments. Quoters must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide their UEID/CAGE CODE. Only SBA-certified HUBZone entities are eligible. Quoters should assume the Government has no prior knowledge of their capabilities and must provide all evaluation criteria per FAR 1352.213-70. Evidence of NOAA Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment training completion for proposed on-site personnel must be submitted within ten business days of award. Insurance coverage documentation must comply with clause CAR 1352.228-70, and a list of proposed Key Personnel must be provided per clause CAR 1352.237-75. Vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit to assess conditions affecting contract performance. Site visits must be scheduled in advance with approval acknowledgment via email or phone.
