The District is in need of Fire Sprinklers and Suppression Systems - As Needed The purpose of this bid package is to provide the Jersey City Board of Education with a contractor who will peform the work described and specified herein. All bid rates must conform to the prevailing wage rate. It is the responsibility of each contractor to become familiar with the specifications and identify the correct prevailing wage rate schedule. Question Submission Deadline:August 7, 2025, 9:00am Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Jersey City Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000.00. All bidders are to submit with their proposal all current, valid contractor or trade licenses as issued by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, for any trade or specialty area the contractor seeks to perform work for this particular proposal. The bid package will also include other documents that must be completed and submitted electronically with the bid. Failure to comply with Instructions to Bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid. Failure to sign the Certificate (Consent) of Surety by either the Surety or Principal, and/or failure to submit the properly executed Certificate (Consent) of Surety with the bid package, shall be deemed cause for disqualification and rejection of the bid.
