Seekonk Cross Road: From Route 23 to Round Hill Road 11,510 feet in length 21 feet in width Total 26,856 square yards Round Hill Road: From Seekonk Cross Road to Seekonk Road 5,200 feet in length 20 feet in width Total 11,600 square yards Division Street from Seekonk Road easterly to Bridge 760 feet in length 21 feet in width Total 1,773 square yards Question Deadline 08/15/2025 at 4:00 PM ET All vendor communications concerning this Invitation for Bid shall be directed via electronically. Questions shall be submitted via electronically. Note that oral communications are not binding on the Town and only written responses by the Town will be considered. No response will be made for any questions received after the question due date and time, unless the Town determines it necessary. Failure to request clarification of any inadequacy, omission, or conflict will not relieve the Bidder of any responsibilities under this Bid or subsequent contract. The Town of Great Barrington will award a contract to the LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER based on the BASE BID PRICE which is within the Town's budgeted amount. Bidder must meet the terms of the specifications. The Town reserves to itself the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or to allow or deny variations from these specifications. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the classes of work as: Pavement - Surfacing with an estimated value of $2,342,246.50 will be required. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 30, 39M & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. l49 26 to 27H inclusive. The Town Administrator and/or Select Board will act as the Awarding Authority for this IFB. The Town of Great Barrington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of the Town. The rate of progress shall be such that the whole work shall be performed in accordance with the terms of this Contract within the number of calendar days after the date of execution of the Contract as stipulated herein 80 calendar days, unless and except as any part may be delayed under the provisions of this Contract.
