As of October 27, 2025, this project has been awarded. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work includes, but is not limited to connecting new water lines and sewer laterals to existing mains, trenching and installing new pressure regulator valve and vault, installing water main and components, removing existing valves and abandoning vault and pipes, installing SCADA wireless unit, conduits, and PG&E Service connection, installing ADA ramp and restoring concrete and asphalt work. All work items shall be constructed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. All work under this contract shall be completed within 45 WorkingDays from the Notice to Proceed effective date. The City shall assess liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per Working Days for delays in completion of the project, as provided in the Contract Documents. A California Class A contractors license is required to bid on this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Cash, cashiers check or certified check, payable to the order of the City of San Bruno, of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bond in said amount payable to the City of San Bruno and signed by the Bidder and a corporatesurety shall accompany the bid. PREVAILING WAGE LAWS: The successful bidder must comply with all prevailing 2 wage laws applicable to the project, and related requirements contained in the contract documents. a. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for b. bid purposes only under c. Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. d. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. e. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
