Bid is cancelled The contractor shall provide Fire Alarm Systems inspections and maintenance for the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems (CAVHCS) located in Tuskegee, Alabama. Services include testing each fire alarm device in occupied buildings on the Tuskegee campus in accordance with applicable NFPA codes. Devices to be tested include, but are not limited to, strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and duct detectors. The contractor must document the number and location of devices in each building, indicating pass or fail status, and respond to emergency calls. Buildings covered under this contract include 2, 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 5, 13, 14, 15, 68, 83, 88, 90, 93, 120, and 129. The scope also includes semi-annual fire alarm inspections, parts and repairs to the fire alarm systems, and emergency service availability 24/7, 365 days a year. Routine services are to be provided during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays). The contract excludes coverage for vandalism, water or storm damage, and wiring issues such as ground faults or faults caused by other maintenance or vendor work on the fire alarm system. Location: Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems, 2400 Hospital Rd, Tuskegee, AL 36083. All questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer in writing via e-mail. Oral questions are not acceptable due to possibility of misunderstanding or misinterpretation. The cut-off date and time for receipt of questions is August 12, 2025 @ 2:00 pm EST. The Period of Performance for this contract service shall be completed quarterly for a period of one (1) year from 1 October 2025 through 30 September 2026.
