The project includes the design-bid-build construction and repairs of Substation A at Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (JMTC), Rock Island Arsenal. It involves replacing the existing 13.8kV Switching Station A, which currently has 14 breakers and a concrete vault under the switchgear room, with a larger facility capable of housing 27 breakers to meet current electrical demands and allow for future expansion. The scope includes drawings, specifications, design analysis, calculations, and construction schedules. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type, with a duration of 650 calendar days from the administrative Notice to Proceed.
