Please feel free to follow up for the award information in mid-December."** The nature and scope of this contract is: Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified, experienced and licensed contractors in the State of Florida to furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to modify the Town of Jupiter Water Treatment Plants waste disposal facilities and related ancillary systems, as required, to make new deep injection well (DIW) and dual zone monitor well (DZMW) systems operational. The work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, related site civil, mechanical, structural, instrumentation and control, and electrical improvements depicted in the drawings, specifications and as described herein to provide a complete and functional system. Proposals received will be evaluated by a Selection Committee based on contractor qualifications, experience, project approach and cost as described by the RFP Documents. Questions concerning the RFP shall be directed to Rebecca Wilder, PE, Assistant Director of Utilities by email (RebeccaW@jupiter.fl.us). Emails should include the title of the RFP in the subject heading and be delivered with a Read Receipt request to confirm successful receipt by the Town. Clarification and changes to the RFP documents will be made by addendum through online. Questions received less than three (3) business days from the deadline for proposal submissions are not guaranteed to be answered. Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Project Cost submitted with the Proposal must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Instructions for Preparing Proposals. The Town may enter into an agreement with one qualified firm for construction of the improvements described by the RFP Documents, plans and specifications.
