**As of September 17, 2025, no bids receive. No definite date for the rebid.** Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to drill and set two (2) new 6-inch gravel packed screen irrigation well to a depth of 150 feet, including mobilization and set up of drilling equipment per well. Work shall include the removal and abandonment of the existing 6-inch wells in accordance with Florida Department of Health (FDOH) guidelines, including obtaining all required permits and submitting completion reports. The scope also includes acquisition of a Water Use Permit, South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) well construction permit, and Palm Beach County Health Department (PBCHD) construction permit. Consideration for indemnification shall be included in accordance with contract requirements. Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) shall be provided in compliance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards as necessary throughout the project duration. All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the Town of Jupiter Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. 1. Applying for and obtaining all the necessary Water Use permits and the well construction permits from the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the Palm Beach County Health Department (PBCHD). The Bidder shall be responsible for preparing and submitting permit applications, paying associated fees, and coordinating with the regulatory agencies until final approval is obtained. The approved permit must be submitted to the Town prior to the well being placed into service. 2. Drilling and installation of two (2) new 6-inch gravel packed screen well to a depth of 150 feet, including full mobilization and set-up of equipment. The Bidder shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, well casing, gravel packing, and any incidentals required for a complete and functional well installation. 3. Removal of the existing pump and legal abandonment of the existing 6-inch well in accordance with Florida Department of Health (FDOH) guidelines. Work shall include safe extraction of the pump, proper sealing or grouting of the well, and completion and submittal of all required reports and permits. The Bidder shall use only properly licensed personnel for this task and restore the area to pre-construction conditions. 4. Furnishing and implementing Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for the full duration of the project in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standards. A minimum of one (1) Contractor employee shall hold a valid FDOT Intermediate MOT certification. The Bidder shall be responsible for the installation and maintenance of all traffic control measures including signage, barricades, cones, and flaggers, as necessary to ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and construction personnel. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Project Documents shall be submitted to The Town of Jupiter Public Works, Attn: Michael Schneider, in writing by email to michaelsc@jupiter.fl.us. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Quotes will not be answered
