Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Work of this Contract includes the redevelopment of Baseball Field 1 and Field 2 and related site work located at Goulard, Sturgeon Falls, ON The Bidder shall include with its Bid a Bid Bond for 10% of the Bid price, valid for the full length of the bid acceptance period and issued by a recognized Surety Company licensed to operate in the Province in which the Contract is to be performed. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a Contract and provide the required Performance Bond and Labour and Material Payment Bond as described below. The Bidder shall include with its Bid an Agreement to Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the Province in which the Work is to be performed, stating that a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labour and Material Payment Bond will be provided to the Owner. If a Bid is accepted by the Owner within the aforementioned time period by written notification of acceptance of the Bid, the successful Bidder shall deliver to the Owner's Consultant a 100% Labour and Material Payment Bond and a 100% Performance Bond issued by the Surety Company. The cost of the bonds shall be included in the Bid price. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com .
