Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 3,372-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and 240-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The project site is located at the existing Isabella High School football facility on County Road 29 in Maplesville, Alabama. We understand that the improvements to the facility will include replacing the existing press box/restroom facility, home side bleachers, relocating the existing fence, installing a new septic system, and possibly replacing the locker room. There is no construction or work planned for the football field. Recommendations for the new septic system and relocating the existing fence are not included in our scope of services. We expect the proposed new buildings will be constructed with concrete masonry unit (CMU) walls supported by a slab-on-grade with turn downs. The proposed new press box/restroom facility will be a two-story building, and the new locker room will be single-story. We understand the metal bleachers will span an upper and lower cast-in-place concrete wall/riser with a maximum wall/riser height of 3 feet. A grading plan has not been finalized; however, we assume cuts and fills will be less than about 2 feet. We anticipate wall loads will be less than 2 kips per linear foot.
