A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Base Bid Scope of Work for this project entails the proper management and disposal of the following materials on a lump sum basis using spot repair techniques based on required work in project engineers plans Where feasible, the HMAC shall avoid coring or drilling through seams and tape joints with asbestos-containing joint compound. Work procedures established in this Specification shall be strictly adhered to during all spot repair work that disturbs asbestos-containing materials atthe Site. The HMAC shall provide prompt clean up of any dust or debris that is generated during asbestos spot repair work. The HMAC shall utilize tools and equipment that are equipped with point use dust collection systems with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters. All drills utilized to core through asbestos-containingmaterials shall be equipped with shrouds and point ofuse HEPA filtered dust collection systems. The HMAC shall have present at each spot repair activity a HEPA filtered vacuum cleanerto clean any dust or debris generated during asbestos spot repair activities.
