**As of October 24, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Base Bid Scope of Work for this project entails the proper management and disposal of the following materials on a lump sum basis using spot repair techniques based on required work in project engineers plans Where feasible, the HMAC shall avoid coring or drilling through seams and tape joints with asbestos-containing joint compound. Work procedures established in this Specification shall be strictly adhered to during all spot repair work that disturbs asbestos-containing materials atthe Site. The HMAC shall provide prompt clean up of any dust or debris that is generated during asbestos spot repair work. The HMAC shall utilize tools and equipment that are equipped with point use dust collection systems with High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters. All drills utilized to core through asbestos-containingmaterials shall be equipped with shrouds and point ofuse HEPA filtered dust collection systems. The HMAC shall have present at each spot repair activity a HEPA filtered vacuum cleanerto clean any dust or debris generated during asbestos spot repair activities. Last Day for Questions - Wed. 9/10 The New London Housing Authority (NLHA) is seeking sealed bids for the project entitled Williams Park Apartments - Elevator, Fire Alarm, & Generator Replacement. 5% Bid Security (Over $25K ONLY) and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds (Over $100K ONLY) are required. Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) and related provisions in the General Conditions. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days. Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents. This project is federally assisted. Therefore, bidders must comply with the following requirements: Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; NonDiscrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; prevailing wage determinations as issued by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
