As of September 23, 2025, project were cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The project consists of the construction of improvements on Madison Street from the Valentine and Madison Street intersection to the Madison Street and West Moore Street intersection. The improvements include but are not limited to curbing, sidewalk improvements, accessible curb ramps, pavement repairs, and restoration. All work on this contract shall be completed within thirty (30) calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Docs notes : Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Documents by request upon proper notice to the above e-mail address. In the e-mail message, the contractor shall indicate if they request an electronic copy (PDF format) or paper copy. Electronic copies will be provided via e-mail at no charge. The cost of a paper copy will be $100.00. a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of Treasurer of the Town of Hackettstown for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of this project is required. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Town. A Pre-Bid Conference is not required for this bid. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Municipality's representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid for goods and services.
