Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Peck, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

Proposals should be submitted in TRIPLICATE and be addressed to: Bill Kerr - Superintendent Peck Community Schools 222 E. Lapeer Rd. Peck, MI 48466 R.C. Hendrick & Son, Inc. is the Construction Manager on this Project. Please do not phone, fax, or email bids to the Construction Manager. All questions regarding the plans and specifications are to be emailed to Chip Hendrick (chip@rchendrick.com). Work must commence no later than September 15th, 2025 and be completed by November 1st, 2025. Each bid that exceeds Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) must be submitted with an attached certified check or bid bond from a surety company approved to do business in the State of Michigan, payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any, part of any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding procedures. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid when Bidder fails to submit data required by the Bidding Documents, or if the bid is submitted incomplete or irregular. No telephonic, email, fax bids or modification to a submitted bid will be received or considered by the Owner. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. Peck Community Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified construction management firms and contractors for the construction of a new pole building on the district's property. This new facility is intended to provide additional storage and functional space for district use. The specifications for the project are outlined below. Structure Type: Pole building o Dimensions: 96 feet by 60 feet o Floor: Finished concrete floor o Utilities: Electrical wiring, water, and sewer lines o Doors and Entrances: o Three (3) overhead doors (minimum size of 12 feet by 12 feet each) o At least three (3) separate entrances Site Preparation: o Clearing, grading, and leveling of the proposed building site. o Excavation for footings, foundation, water and sewer lines, and electrical conduit as needed. 2. Construction: o Construction of a pole building structure with appropriate footings, foundation, and framing. o Installation of a finished concrete floor that is smooth and level, suitable for various district activities. o Installation of three (3) overhead doors, each with a minimum dimension of 12' x 12'. o Installation of at least three (3) separate building entrances with standard door frames. o Providing and installing electrical and water/sewer lines that meet local codes and regulations. 3. Electrical and Plumbing: o Complete electrical installation, including lighting, outlets, and any necessary electrical panels. o Installation of water and sewer lines that are connected to the existing district infrastructure. 4. Site Restoration: All disturbed areas must be restored to their original condition or better, including final grading and site cleanup.
