The Village of Peck is requesting bids for the construction of the Downtown Sidewalk Replacement Project. The work includes the removal of existing sidewalk and steps adjacent to existing buildings and the construction of approximately 3000 square feet of concrete sidewalk, concrete retaining walls, concrete steps, concrete curb and gutter, and curb ramps. The project is a rebid from a previous year, with brick veneers, handrails, and decorative railings removed from the contract. Brick veneers have been eliminated from the project, and handrails and railings will be completed by others. The Village reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Peck. For all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents. Bidder is required to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Sitevand adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site.
