Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of September 23, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 30, 2025.** The project is located in Montgomery County and involves the rehabilitation and upgrade of the eastern sidewalk along MD-186 (Brookville Road) from Turner Lane to Quincy Street in the Village of Martin's Additions. In general, MD 186 is a two-lane road. The primary purpose of the project is to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility along the length of the project including, but not limited to, ADA ramp replacement, sidewalk repair/replacement, site features such as curbs, walls and paving, storm drainage, stormwater management and the relocation of impacted utilities and signs. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Concrete sidewalk, curbs Asphalt paving Grading improvements Sediment control/stabilization Traffic/pedestrian control Stormwater management Other appurtenances or details as shown Refer to attached specification for details Refer to attached plans for project quantities, dimensions, grades and details The "Notice of Award" is intended to be issued by September 19, 2025 and work must be completed by April 3, 2026. All work will be performed in the Village of Martin's Additions, Montgomery County, Maryland.
