The bid due date is extended to Sept. 25, 2025. The proposed project generally includes the construction of new airfield taxilane pavement located in an existing green field site. The work items include but are not limited to; site grading, excavation, pavement section installation, drainage installation, utility modifications, markings and restoration. After award, the low bidder shall be prepared to hold bid prices for anticipated start of May 2026, weather dependent. The execution of the construction Contract is dependent upon the receipt of an FAA grant offer. This Contract does not allow for price escalation in unit bid items. The Contractor shall take this into consideration when preparing unit prices for bidding. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
