The County of Camden is requesting the following material testing and inspection services for various materials. The majority of testing services shall be in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2019, Standard Input (SI) as most recently revised to the date of this proposal. Quotes for specific testing services not described in this RFP may be requested during the contract on an as-needed basis by various Camden County Departments. The FIRM selected by the County shall provide the following scope of work at a minimum. It is to be understood by the firm selected that the County will only accept material testing and inspection services that meet the needs of Camden County. A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) is defined in the Camden County Affirmative Action Plan as "a business which is independently owned and operated and is at least 51% owned and controlled by minority group members". Minority group members are defined in the Camden County Affirmative Action Plan as "persons who are Black, Hispanic, Portuguese, Asian-American, American Indian or Alaskan Natives" A Women Business Enterprise (WBE) is defined in the Camden County Affirmative Action Plan as "a business which is independently owned and operated and is at least 51% owned and controlled by women".
