**As of September 9th, 2025, the project was awarded to TD&I, with an awarded amount of $46,902.** The City of New Richmond Utilities is seeking a utilities contractor to install 1" HDPE innerduct on a number Water Department projects. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor and equipment for the safe and efficient installation of the underground facilities Bid shall also include adequate traffic control and warning signage provided and set up daily by the contractor. Contractor shall provide all required Personal Protective Equipment worn by persons working on site (in accordance with the ANSI standards). The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to solicit proposals from various organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best fulfills the needs of the City of New Richmond. The City of New Richmond reserves the right to modify and waive any and all informalities or technicalities, or to reject any and all bids and/or parts thereof, and to accept that bid which it deems most favorable for the City. All bids must be signed by an official agent or representative of the company submitting the proposal. All costs included in bids must be all-inclusive to include any outsourced or contracted work. Any bids which call for outsourcing or contracting work must include a name and description of the organizations being contracted. Copy of contractor's liability insurance shall be included in bid proposal. All costs must be itemized to include an explanation of all fees and costs. The successful bidder will be required to carry insurance in the following amounts throughout the duration of the construction process. A. Worker's Compensation and related coverages: 1. State: Statutory 2. Federal, if applicable (e.g., Longshoreman's): Statutory 3. Employer's Liability: (a) Bodily injury, each accident $100,000 (b) Bodily injury by disease, each employee $100,000 (c) Bodily injury/disease, aggregate $500,000 4. Foreign voluntary worker compensation: Statutory B. Contractor's Commercial General Liability 1. General Aggregate $2,000,000 2. Each Occurrence (Bodily Injury and Property Damage) $1,000,000 3. Property Damage liability insurance will provide Explosion, Collapse, and Underground coverages where applicable. C. Additional Insureds: 1. City of New Richmond The City of New Richmond Utilities is seeking a utilities contractor to install 1" HDPE innerduct on a number Water Department projects. The 1" HDPE conduit will be provided by the City. Contractor shall supply armored 48 strand singlemode fiber optic, patch panel for fiber optic and 100' of slack at each splice location. Contactor will be responsible for getting fiber optic inside buildings, all necessary splicing, terminating ends and installing patch panels. The City and the contractor will negotiate a specific schedule for the project; however, completion of the project must be completed prior to December 31, 2025. All proposals must include proposed costs to complete the tasks described in the project scope. Final billing for work must be submitted to the City no more than 30 days after project completion.
