Hiwassee Utilities Commission (Owner) The Project consists of the following major elements: Replacing the existing membrane baffle system and support components and installing a diversion elbow on the influent waterline as included within the project. - Replace Baffle System including Interior Cleaning and Disinfection - Modify Inlet as specified. Completion-(120) consecutive calendar days A. The work described in these Contract Documents consists of furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and products for the "Water Treatment Plant Concrete Clearwell Baffle Replacement." B. Furnish all materials, power, equipment, tools, labor, transportation, and other items necessary or convenient to the Contractor for the installation of the equipment, materials, and products specified or described in these Contract Documents and for the completion of all work to be performed by the Contractor as specified herein. Bids will only be accepted from Contractor's that are listed on Engineer's list of planholders who have purchased the Contract Documents and Specifications. Engineer shall be provided with the following information: mailing address for both U.S. Postal Service and physical delivery, telephone number, FAX number, email address, and name of contact person. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids as deemed in the best interest of the Owner, and to re-advertise the project as necessary.
