The work consists of replacing existing filter bank 1 wafer butterfly valves and pneumatic actuators with new AWWA flanged butterfly valves and pneumatic actuators, control wring and remote I/O panel and making piping modifications as required; providing new compressed air header in pipe gallery; tying in existing filter bank 2 pneumatic actuators to new air header; providing new south zone magnetic flow meter with electrical and signal wiring and associated piping changes; providing new raw water magnetic flow meter with electrical and signal wiring and associated piping changes, and miscellaneous ancillary work as described in the bidding documents. The allotted time for construction is 240 calendar days for substantial completion and 285 days to final completion, both from the date of the notice to proceed.
