Reference Number 0000395482 IRSC invites qualified licensed contractors to submit quotes for College Wide Roof Replacement and Repairs, comprising multiple buildings in all Six (6) locations around all four (4) counties where the College operates. Question Deadline 08/22/2025 at 11:59 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes . SCOPE OF WORK and SPECIFICATIONS 1. Scope of Work for All Locations: IRSC is requesting proposals from licensed and qualified roofing contractors to replace all existing roofing systems across college campuses. The project includes removing existing roofing materials, inspecting and repairing underlying structures, installing new roofing systems, and all related work to provide a durable, weather-tight, and code-compliant roof for each building. The project includes: Existing Roof System Removal: Complete removal and disposal of all existing roofing materials, insulation, underlayment, flashing, and related components. Structural Inspection and Repair: Thorough inspection of the roof deck and supporting structures to identify and address any damage, deterioration, or areas requiring repair or reinforcement. New Roofing System Installation: Material Selection: All proposals should include Metal roofing and other materials appropriate for the Florida climate and meeting Florida Building Code (FBC), Wind Resistance: New Roof must be designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 180 mph, based on wind zone, with roof to wall attachments if needed, and include wind resistance ratings.
