The Town of Somerset, Massachusetts, herein called the Owner, acting by and through its Board of Selectmen, will receive sealed Bids for the project known as the Council on Aging Mini-Spit Installation Project. The work associated to the project may include any part of the Council on Aging building located at 115 Wood st, and the associated parking lot(s). The Town currently has five LG mini-split units. This project is for the installation of the following units. 1 LG unit sized 1.5 ton 2 LG units sized 2 ton 2 LG units sided 3 ton The Council on Aging Building has five rooms associated to the installation of each unit as follows. Auditorium will have installed one 3 ton unit The buildings offices will have installed one 2 ton unit The buildings kitchen will have installed one 3 ton unit The buildings recreational room will have installed one 1.5 unit The buildings game room located adjacent to the back parking lot, will have installed one 2 ton unit. All the rooms are next to one another and are listed from the front of the building to the back of the building. There is a basement below all the rooms listed that are all linked to electrical panel(s) beneath the Auditorium. It is extremely important that potential contractors participate in the site walk-through for the most appropriate measurements, distances, and associated project costs. All questions related to this project must be received no later than Monday August 25th 2025, at 3:00pm. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Town Administrator, Somerset Town Hall, 140 Wood Street, Somerset, MA 02726, and to be given consideration must be received
