The City of St. Pete Beach ("City") is seeking qualified contractors to provide design, permitting and construction services for the repair and restoration of the Shuffleboard Club House ("Project Site"). The Project Site was impacted by Hurricane Helene on September 26th, 2024 and by Hurricane Milton on October 9th, 2024. The Project Site is located south of 10th Avenue and west of Pass-a-Grille Way at 101 9th Avenue in St. Pete Beach, Florida. The structure is nationally registered as historic. The project aims to restore the Project Site to pre-storm conditions, ensure public safety, and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Deadline for Question Submission 09/10/2025 10:00 AM All Contractors must contact the City's Procurement Manager, in writing via e-mail (jtaylor@stpetebeach.org), with their intention to bid, along with their company name and contact information at least five (5) business days before the bid package is due The selected contractor shall be responsible for all aspects of the project, including but not limited to design, permitting, construction, quality control, and project management. The project scope will be finalized with the selected contractor and may include but is not limited to the list below. Shuffleboard Club House Rebuild: o Remove all existing damaged materials o Shore up the existing roof structure. o Replace, rebuild all concrete footings and sidewalks o Replace needed 6x6 posts and install all necessary code required tie downs, strapping and hurricane clips. o Rebuild exterior walls as needed. o Panel interior walls as needed. o Repair plumbing as needed. o Rewire all electrical up to code standards. o Replace windows. o Install new roof covering.
