Union Street Infrastructure Upgrades. Question Deadline 08/21/2025 All written questions and other communications made by the Bidder prior to execution of the Contract are to be directed solely to the Procurement Officer. Under no circumstances is the Bidder to contact any other City employee or consultant for information. Only qualified Contractors will be considered for award of this Contract. In order to be considered qualified; the Contractor shall have been successfully pre-qualified under Prequalification No. P22-43 Category "B" to submit a Tender for the Work of this Contract. The proposed Work includes: - Installation of alternative water supply for residents on Babbitt Street and on Gill Street before removal of the existing 150mm diameter DI Water main. - Contractor will be responsible for adequately pumping existing sewer flows around areas of work as required to complete connections and sewer sanitary sewer piping installations. - Reconstruction of Babbitt Street and reconstruction of Gill Street with asphalt concrete laid over new road structure including granular base, and granular subbase, with associated concrete curb and gutter, landscaping, reinstatement of driveways and portions of sidewalk on Union, etc. - Installation of 150m of 200mm diameter DI water main and associated valves and chambers, 75m of 50mm diameter of water main, five (5) 19mm diameter and three (3) 25mm diameter copper service laterals, 85m of 450mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer, 90m of 375mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer, eight (8) 100mm sanitary service laterals, four (4) 1200mm diameter Sanitary Manholes, replacement of storm catch basins and associated CB lateral piping, and all other related appurtenances.
