The primary goal is to improve dissolved oxygen levels and directional flow in the oxidation ditch, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and treatment process efficiency. . Scope of Services The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to perform the following tasks: o Rotor Cover & Support Rehabilitation: o Inspect and repair or replace damaged rotor covers. o Rehab existing supports for rotor covers to ensure structural integrity and longterm durability. o Bearing and Pillar Replacement: o Remove and replace rotor bearings. o Replace support pillars if deemed necessary upon inspection. o Rotor Shaft Rehabilitation: o Inspect and refurbish the rotor shaft to restore it to "like new" condition. o Perform machining, cleaning, or balancing as required. o Gearbox Rebuild: o Disassemble, clean, and rebuild the rotor drive gear box if deemed necessary o Replace worn or damaged internal components. o Reassemble and test to ensure reliable operation. o Purchase new drive motor for gearbox. Deliverables Restored rotor system, fully operational and tested. o Final inspection report documenting all repairs performed. o Maintenance recommendations (if any). o Warranty documentation on parts and labor. All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Deltona Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. The City of Deltona Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids/proposals and to Make the Award to That Bidder/respondent, Who in the Opinion of the City Will Be in the Best Interest of and/or the Most Advantageous to the City. The City of Deltona Also Reserves the Right to Reject the Bid/proposal of Any Vendor Who Has Previously Failed in the Proper Performance of an Award or to Deliver on Time Contracts of a Similar Nature or Who, in the City's Opinion, is Not in a Position to Perform Properly Under This Award. The City of Deltona Reserves the Right to Inspect All Facilities of Bidders/respondents in Order to Make a Determination as to the Foregoing. The City of Deltona Reserves the Right to Waive Any Irregularities, Informalities, and Technicalities in Offers Received, and May, at Its Discretion, Request a Re-bid, or Abandon the Project/procurement in Its Entirety.
