**As of October 17, 2025, the project was awarded to Empire Graphics, Signs & Lighting, with an awarded amount of $110,592.20** The City of Bowie, Maryland is seeking proposals from qualified experienced contractors to provide design, fabrication, and installation services for the replacement of three (3) scoreboards at two City parks, located at Whitemarsh Park and Church Road Park (2001 Church Road, Bowie, MD 20721). Contract Award (Estimated) Monday, October 6, 2025 The existing athletic field scoreboards are all 8 feet (H) x 20 feet (L) and need aesthetic and technological enhancement. The City intends to replace these scoreboards utilizing the existing supports and electrical service. The replacement scoreboards shall use LED lighting, and each will be designed in the colors of the two Boys and Girls Clubs(BGCC and SBBGC) and the respective mascot artwork at their designated fields. All three (3) scoreboards shall include the capability of controlling the units from both the press box and from a remote, handheld device. The new scoreboards shall be used primarily for the scoring of football, soccer, and lacrosse. The complete Scope of Work is contained within these solicitation documents.
